Dr. Bruce Elliot Burns, born in Walnut Creek, CA, on November 3rd, 1963, has served in the Army Reserve since shortly after the terrorist attacks on 9/11. He has been deployed to Iraq, Germany, and Kosovo, and is scheduled to serve in Afghanistan in 2011. His numerous decorations include the MSM, the ARCOM x3, the AAM x2, the NDSM, the GWOTEM, the GWOTM, the Kosovo Campaign Medal, the Iraqi Campaign Medal, the ASR, the OSR, the AFRM with M device 5th award, the NATO Medal, and the MUC.
